The Broken Paths

Four heroes were summoned to the world of Nexus, each assigned a specific location and role upon arrival. However, due to a system glitch, a fifth individual—Yuichi—is accidentally brought along. Unlike the others, Yuichi is left without a designation, kingdom, or purpose. While the true heroes were welcomed, Yuichi was flagged by the system as a “defect” and immediately placed under surveillance, as his existence threatens to cause a political uproar. Cast out and with limited knowledge of this new world and its functionality, Yuichi and Rika are forced to fend for themselves. Stranded in an unfamiliar land, they must quickly learn the rules of survival on their own, facing harsh realities, low-paying hunts, and internal friction as they struggle to adapt to a world that never wanted or needed them there.
