Zinru, a despised F-rank Adventurer living in the shadows of society, survived on nothing but delusions of grandeur. Yet, destiny—or perhaps a cruel joke—smiled upon him inside the Tower of Death #102. There, he received a "rule-breaking" power from a mysterious Goddess, granting him absolute authority. Believing himself to be the one and only "Main Character" of this world, Zinru embarks on a conquest for fame and power. To him, everyone else is merely an NPC (Non-Player Character), their lives nothing more than statistics meant to elevate his glory. However, behind the spotlight of the "National Hero" praised by the media lie horrific tragedies: A father turning into a Demon King to protect his Son’s memory; a mother selling her soul to resurrect her son; and a noble clan crumbling in a sea of fire.
